Medication Management

More than a prescription.

We don't just prescribe — we listen, we check in, and we make sure medication is actually making your life better. Because a prescription without a relationship behind it isn't enough.

01What It Involves

Medication support that sees the whole picture.

At Wright Mind Family Psychiatry, the person helping with your medication also understands therapy. That's the pharmacotherapist model — it means your prescriber sees the whole picture, not just the symptoms. We'll have honest conversations about what medication can do, what it can't, and how it fits with everything else.

This might be a good fit if you're exploring medication for the first time, picking up where another provider left off, or needing closer follow-up on how things are going.

  1. An honest starting point

We'll talk about your symptoms, your history, and what you're hoping to feel different. And if medication doesn't make sense for you, we'll say so.

  2. Real check-ins, not just refills

Follow-up visits are about how you're actually doing — not just renewing a prescription. We watch for side effects, listen to what's changing, and adjust when needed.

  3. Part of a bigger picture

If you're also in therapy — here or elsewhere — your medication support stays connected to the rest of your treatment. That's how integrated care is supposed to work.

02Visit Expectations

What ongoing visits look like.

Follow-up visits are where the real work happens — reviewing how medication is affecting your day-to-day life, making adjustments, and keeping your treatment plan on track.
