Good Faith Estimate

Under federal law, you have the right to know what care will cost before it’s scheduled. Here’s how that works at our practice.

Your Right To Know

You have the right to know what care will cost.

If you’re uninsured or paying out of pocket, you can request a written estimate of expected charges before your care begins. This page explains what that looks like and how to ask for one.

Who can request an estimate

If you don't have insurance or plan to pay out of pocket, you have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate before services are scheduled. We'll provide one so you know what to expect.

What the estimate includes

A Good Faith Estimate lists the expected charges for the services you're planning to receive. Keep in mind that actual costs may vary depending on your specific care needs and how treatment unfolds.

Questions or concerns about a bill

If you receive a bill that's significantly higher than your estimate, you have the right to dispute it. Contact the office with questions, or visit cms.gov/nosurprises for more information about your rights.
